ok..
it was easy to play, smooth gameplay and fun but its not a game that i'd play everyday, its more of an "i'm on break" game where you'd play it for about 10 min and then move onto something else. Still fun though and maybe you should spice it up a bit with some extras like backgrounds and other small things that allow the player to feel its their own custom game, not just a level editor.

fairly boring
The original game was way more interesting than this version. There weren't many special abilities to be found. And it gets fairly boring after the first 4 levels. Though, the map making is pretty fun to do.
Kinda Boring
It wasn't horrible but i didnt find it fun because it was so slow and the upgrades never came or it felt like they never did.

Not annoying
As far as Arkanoid clones go, this was a lot less annoying than most. I think it was that the game remained slow for the most part--I usually die in these things when the ball gets going so fast I can't keep up.
There are some hit-detection issues with the ball and the bricks--many times I'd sit there and watch the ball sail happily through the side of a brick, wondering WTF was going on. Also, the multi-ball power-up spawning balls at the paddle, rather than splitting them off the main ball, was kind of disorienting. Overall, the game seemed to lack polish; I know that's vague, but I don't know how else to put it. Oh well. Solid effort.
