The paddle wouldn't move for about 1/4 of a second after I moved my mouse. This resulted in a lot of frustrating deaths. However, the foundation here is solid, and I would like to see some more work from you.

Classic.

It's a good remake of Breakout. I felt the game had a good pace, but I'm the patient type, and prefer slower gameplay. It might be good to add a difficulty/speed setting, in the future, for people who want the ball to be moving faster or slower, even with the speed up and slow down power-ups. Otherwise, I've got no complaints.

Speed up slightly or lower the ceiling.

Not a bad game, I like that you can create your own levels.
The only problem I have is that the default game is just way too slow. Since the ball will always take the slow way straight up if it hits the middle of the paddle, even if it came in rapidly at a low angle, the game is easy enough. The slow travel with the high ceiling just makes it too slow. In the following example map I lowered the ceiling to show how it speeds up the game because you don't have to wait on the ball nearly as long:

Here I even layered the ceiling with metal bricks which would normally make the game long and drawn out, but with a ceiling this low it still keeps in some exitement:

Bonusses and bricks: good, you got the nessesary variation.
Level editor: good.
2player: didn't try.
Game speed: too slow.

Good Game, but sometimes the ball get stuck in a loop and you have to restart, besides that not bad

Not annoying

As far as Arkanoid clones go, this was a lot less annoying than most. I think it was that the game remained slow for the most part--I usually die in these things when the ball gets going so fast I can't keep up.

There are some hit-detection issues with the ball and the bricks--many times I'd sit there and watch the ball sail happily through the side of a brick, wondering WTF was going on. Also, the multi-ball power-up spawning balls at the paddle, rather than splitting them off the main ball, was kind of disorienting. Overall, the game seemed to lack polish; I know that's vague, but I don't know how else to put it. Oh well. Solid effort.
