nice man

dude awesome game, but what i want is how domn was saying with enviroment shit and then some extra girder length. be good for an alternative game mode.

VoidSkipper responds:

Yeah, wanna do some cool environmental effects in the sequel. Figure out a balance for length as well. There'll be plenty of alt game modes.

Jolly good time.

What's YOUR best height?

VoidSkipper responds:

Like 1700, lols, I suck at computer games, so I get other people to test mine for me.

difficult

this game is difficult and addictive i like how it canover ballance and u actually see it swaying when it starts to over balance do make a sequel

VoidSkipper responds:

Will do (:

VoidSkipper responds:

Needs moar practise :P

Quite entertaining

Definately a fun game, spent an hour or two just experimenting with different designs. It was a little annoying at first only being able to build one piece at a time, so the girders would usually start swinging before I could secure them, making the tower sway. Although that seems to be all part of the strategy of the game, so you have to build it up so that each piece is stable. It made me think on my methods of construction a bit, which was good. Eventually I started to just try out random stuff, like building girders straight up from one pylon. It actually worked surprisingly well, up to the point where I was able to get to ~1900 height before one of the base girders collapsed due to the massive pressure from above. The best I achieved was when it got to about 2600 in height, this being when I added supports between every two girders for the straight up structure. It got me into the top 75 of the score board, so I am quite satisfied with that atleast. It would be nice to see some added environmental effects in the sequal, such as wind and rain, in order to make it more difficult to do this style of building, but also for some additional challenge. For now though I will see just how far up I can build this monstrosity, perhaps I will be able to break 4000?

VoidSkipper responds:

Environmental effects are definitely slated for the sequel. I'm not sure to what extent I want them to actually interact with the tower, but wind should at least be a factor. The straight-up style is pretty limited, you can get a bit out of it, but the way you've described is the furthest it'll go. I would be very surprised if you broke 4000 with it.
