Reviews for "Insurgo"

lol,love it

awesome game, i played it properly but that soon got boring (as most reviews have noted) so i messed around then, seeing what was the most disgraceful structure i could possibly conceive. i ended up making a structure that fell without any joint breaking,a structure that resembled a ball of satanic symbols (a bunch of reinforced pentagons) and a pathetic tower that i just wanted to break, but for some reason couldn't, which confuzzled me.
i think that when you make the sequel you should make the "free mode" be completely free, make breaks and falls do nothing, just keep it going (to reduce lag make fallen pipes disapear after a few seconds), which would keep easily amused people such as myself amused for ages.
i also have an idea that might be good for a challenge. have objects fall from the sky and hit the tower, putting pressure on the joints.
then put an option on free mode where you can throw abjects at the tower yourself (so i can have more carnage).
and have different types of pipes, some stronger than others and some having longer reach. maybe weaknesses in the pipes, like having a pipe that holds allot of weight but the objects(if you use the idea about the objects) stick to it, causing weight to build up.

well, thats about it, thanks for the game.

VoidSkipper responds:

Being creative seems to be where the replay value lays - have you tried to build a pinwheel?

Free mode has been requested to death. It's definitely going to be there.

I love how people nonchalantly ask for complex things like IK collision detection :P But yeah, that's a pretty cool idea. I might add it to the list of slated game modes.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the 10!

Satisfying

The physics are a little off but it's still pretty fun. I built up to the moon then I just gave up, it's a good challenge.
After you give up on building up, it's fun to build "down", ie crash it. I've spent about half an hour building really wide, high and flimsy towers to "accidently" delete a wrong pylon (actually in most cases if falls down anyway, usually when I don't want it to). Or making a network of swinging metal structures on a big-ass metal wheel.
A 3D version would be fun but it could get pretty complicated and that's waaaayy too much to expect from flash. Can't wait for the sequel. Keep up the good work.

VoidSkipper responds:

3D is easy. It would run a little slower, but flash can handle it. The issue would be the control scheme.

Thanks for your review - I had a fair bit of fun destroying towers while testing, too!

good job

great fysics sequal

VoidSkipper responds:

Thankyou!

Did you make this game?

Did you create this game too?

VoidSkipper responds:

That is the engine from this game, yes. Candystand purchased a license to the source code in order to make a customised version that better suited their site.

Awesome

I like it and I can't wait for the sequel

VoidSkipper responds:

Hope it doesn't dissappoint!
