Neat dream

I believe the interpretation for your dream is as follows:
The path is life, the darkness you see when you try to look whats in the distance represents that no one truly knows what tomorrow holds. The the unreal repeating unreal trees represents the unending problems in life that don't directly effect you or slow you down. The red sky, the rain the chilled unseen mist all represents something nagging at you. You running is your way of dealing with life. The tiredness in your hips and you slowing reflects your lack desire/ability to continue with your life is a present. The nets coming up and your anxiety about stopping represent that if you stop you will pass into an oblivion, abyss, nothingness . See the house in the distance repesents the you are looking for a refuge. The totem represents some type of gatekeeper/guardian spirit that keeps the refuge from being consumed by the abyss and problems of life. The portal represents you entering the refuge and you no longer fear being consumed by the abyss. The cliff(being no more path) and the fact you stop running represents you can finally end your life in peace.

That being said I recommend you find what ever this refuge is and the protection it offers.

Symbolism at its finest~!

This is one of those dreams that make me think about what they could reflect in my own life. I hate dreams personally, they make me think about different things and how things could be or why they should be. I don't like those types of thoughts. Sure your life may be a shit-hole and that it may indeed be a pain to deal with the 'over and over' process of living it day after groaning day, but it's yours to live with. I agree with KAM666, your monotony is choking you, but you don't have to hate it. I'm a bit of a masochist, so I don't mind it when my life decided to be a bitch and try and kill me with the tedium of life. I am a college student. I work for an I.T. group, with the promise of a position there after I graduate. School is a meaningless thing to me mainly due to the fact that I learn nothing from the classes I attuned. But I continue on with the hope that one day it will pay off.
I am also torn. The love of my life lives elsewhere, and I am here. It would cause my family great stress if I moved, and she has all of her friends and family where she is. BUT we are not worrying about the future. We are happy with the now and the bright promise of tomorrow! Revel in each day that you are granted, because one day it will all be jerked away from you in a gust of wind, like dust off an old photograph. It will be over and will you have any memories to comfort you when it end? Don't let the darkness bother you, its really not so bad. But, I suggest that you get a "candle". Something to keep you warm in the cold mist that has enveloped you before you run headlong into the darkness alone.

im gonna give it a try

ok so i read everyone ells es reviews about the dream and all
and I'm just really bored so i decided to write my interpretation of what it might mean

ok
so with the trees being of little concentration in the dream they are more to put emphasis on the path
the volleyball nets might resemble less of volleyball and more of what nets typically do which is catch
you seem to be running from being caught
the bend in the road might resemble a change in direction and how your leading you life
the road finally leading to something means that eventually you will find some sort of sanctuary in which you can feal safe from being caught

but what the hell do i know man
I'm like 15
go see a therapist if it bothers you that much
or an native American medicine man cause of the totem poll

When I watched this and when it got to the part where you felt the pain in your side it reminded me that one night I had a clogged nose and I fell asleep and I had a pretty similar dream like this one but I couldn't breath but then I think I auto-matically blew my nose and then I could breathe again for a few minutes and then my nose was clogged again then I woke up. But still I remember the dream like it was yesterday, cus it was lol :) Good job on the animation.
