a few recommendations, make it go a little slower through the difficulty, although i get your (perhaps accidental) idea of it being shocking and exciting (which is certainly what i found)

Nice game, Music sorted the theme and well presented. Although it does have one hell of a learning curve. Not my sort of game but liked it anyway.

A coupla things..
..that I think it's fair to criticize this on, that I think most can relate to.
The first thing is the learning curve. I started out on adventure mode, which is usually the easiest thing around. The first coupla levels, I was thinking, "Hey, this is neat, and stylish. Cool music to go with it, too." Then, BAM, you started firin yah lazors. That got insanely difficult fast. And even better gamers than I (read: everyone) can probably agree that that was a tough adjustment, even if they found it doable. The second thing: I dunno if this is a prob with the game or my browser, but when I die, the "return to menu" arrow just sends me to a blank screen, so I gotta close the game to play again.
That said, it's a very attractive game, and strong on concept and execution otherwise. Although I was frustrated enough with scramble and adventure that I didn't try the more difficult looking modes, I liked that you put in several modes, too.
