I gave you a 5/10 because of three things:
1. was that you keeped the beat to the movie which would have been really cool only you keeped doing it over and over so i got a little annoyed
2.I didn't understand why the bugs were coming out of the house
3.you lost me after the tree lost its last leaf part i didnt really understand it
BUT you picked a very touchy subject which i thought was really kind of cool and like you said it was experimental so most of the reaso i gave you 5/10 was because it was a little weird but great topic.
So artsy, it interferes with the message
If you are trying to promote a message of a cleaner world, then you need a less artsy video. Why are you victimizing "wind generators", "sewers", and "Christmas trees"? That doesn't make sense.
You should make a clear message -- wind generators make less pollution than coal factories, sewers are necessary for human waste management, trees are necessary for a cleaner environment.
I will give you credit that the video was artistically "different" -- but remember, it was so artsy, it was promoting the WRONG message.
concept is good
i have to go with the guy below me on quite a few of his ideas. but i'm gonna go in on some specific parts... the begining parts where everythig is flashing between the picture and its invert was very annoying, i'm not usually bothered by things flashing but that was giving me a headache. anohter thing i relized is that there was very little in this acually worth calling animation, the best part i can recall (of the "hand drawn" stuff)about it was the section where the two people were sitting at a table and one put a hand on the others... the photo shop parts, you had good choice in the pictures(thats acually where you are getting most of your points) but there was very little in here that isnt just very basic for flash (though basic many times IS better) but much of it was scrolling screens of photo shop...
the concept was good, the music was good, the timing was good, the photoshop was good... the animation of your hand drawns... just wasnt there for me... if the entire animation was hand drawn and it stayed in that style... i'm not sure but it may have been better in my eyes
