Reviews for "Alfred's Playhouse Pt. 1"

This is so much better that alfred christ

I don't know if you've been associated with, or have suffered from a mental disorder yourself, but this animation is quite compelling.

It has good narrative structure, and quite an interesting construction of narrative. All together a very interesting animation. However the style itself gets in the way a LOT. Better drawings, banning the use of jpegs, and better audio editing would make this perfect. Good work though, I shall watch part two soon.

Very annoying.

Just like a trauma. Trauma of reality.

I love your work!

I could understand everything that was going on here. The part that stood out the most though, was the part with the word. We SCREAM! If you don't get even that, then you're lucky. This was very good and I have the feeling the crappy drawing and sound qaulity were intened, as it only adds to the insanity of alfreds playhouse.

Then again, I could be over-thinking things and this could just be a shit flash. ;)

I actually unterstood what was going on...

...and it's freeking me out @u@
Have to agree with the one before me; "It's easier for a character who has suffered to relate to other people who have suffered."
The way you show insanity is very strong!
The whole story (I mean this whole trilogy) is actually pretty good if you understand it. Animating style is unique, I like it. Some parts you could have animated lil' beter. Audio was indeed hard to understand but it, somekind of freekyish way, fits in there! 9 for Alfred! ^^

Hehe

I find it hilarious while reading "I don't understand this" or "I only sat through x minutes" reviews on here. This is only the beginning of the madness. The lack of sanity is well portrayed here.

Of course, I'm getting the feeling that only those who have also been traumatized in some way are the ones who appreciate it. It's more difficult to understand what's going on if it's seen through the eyes of someone who doesn't know such severe trauma. It's easier for a character who has suffered to relate to other people who have suffered. That's usually how it works.

8/10 on the playhouse, though. I'm not sure if there's a bug in the theme song that makes it lag or if it's intentional. The stanza with the "Rent us The Sound of Music" at the end of it is the one that seems to skip.
