not bad at all
the ending could've been a little better, but that's the only bad thing i have to say about this. it's too bad that there are morons out there that are too dumb to see the humor in this. Keep up the good work, dude! :P

It was interesting you could have made it longer and put in many moree funny screw-ups before saying 300 and whatever screw-ups later, your style of humour is one unfortunately not understood or seen by many. It needed to be longer essentially. I liked the doo doo doo do dooo everytime, but as i said, the more screw-ups you do before skipping loads, which is fine to do, the better i think it will get.

I think the "awesome" style gets its funniness out of speed. This flash was somewhat slow for an awesome imho. Also, I didn't really spot a joke with a point, but OK - I didn't play Metroid either. If your point is that checkpoints are too far away from each other and you have unlimited ammo, that frankly wasn't too funny. There was little motion and action going on. The sound was nice, not superb but nice. The respawn melody sounded good.
And without relation to the flash itself: You are a bit too susceptible to bad criticism. If a review sounds stupid to you, just let it be. Your humor for example is a thing that's relevant to review. Reviewing is how users tell you what they think of your work. If you ignore or ban certain types of review, you're no better than Arnold Schönberg, who let only selected people listen to his music and did not allow opinions that imply his music was bad. In fact, his music was terrible but revolutionary. If no one may criticize your humor, may we criticize your drawing/choice of sounds/voice/script then? If you want to get better, you have to accept what your viewers think of you.

pros: thank you for encouraging the sound of my voice in my movie, and thank you for saying that you dont play metroid so you dont get most of the humor.
cons: i hate critical reviews and spam. i do have the right to free speech, so i can exact either a pardon or a critiscizm back at the person reviewing. you do understand that concept or you wouldnt be reviewing right now.
i had my reasons for making this movie, mostly because i am an avid fan of ego, but because i like making various styles of flash, and some dont understand my kind of humor, i know, but i do ackknowledge the ones who do understand.
your review told me, that you are an avid reviewer, but are more on the side of "i diddnt get it..."...
