A great copy of what used to be.
First of all I'd like to compliment you on the viewpoint and angle you have taken. It not only has the potential to be highly controversial but is a completely different and unique effort that only occasionally appears on NG. Although the old 16mm film style isn't used much, it is somewhat of a medium that does get used but very rarely this well, and with such depth and forethought.
How you have used the constant motion of the entire stage to replicate the film shaking is great, and if not added the entire idea of film wouldn't have been quite as obvious or effective.
Unfortunately as with many great works there are always a few things that lack the quality from keeping it from that next level.
The biggest thing for me was the audio, the levels for the narrator were strong, and quite comfortable. Although at points the music (being the nature of it with more emphasis on the mids/highs than the low end) seemed to overpower everything, due to different peaks etc. from different instruments. So if anything that could have used a mild EQ to soften it all out and make it flow a little smoother. Overall the wife was little quiet, although you could understand her it would have been more effective to use more volume. While I understand the idea with the old films is to make the narrator strong and the subject quieter, they subject in this case was a little too quiet.
As far as illustration was concerned everything was clear and concise and simple. For my taste though I found everything to be a little too cartoony, as if everything was drawn to a very basic standard just to itemise objects. If a little more detail had been added to the overall movie I believe that this would have taken it up a notch, as it would have given everything a sense of being, rather than just depicting an object.
One main point that I really liked was the use of very basic animation with wording, and putting titles right to the edge of the screen, as old titling machines used to do. This really added that element of realism to the clip which I found to be a major bonus.

This was great. What's also great are the people who tired to convince themselves this wasn't funny and gave this flash a low score solely because they are victims or PROPAGANDA!

People who can't see this is an obvious mockery of the 50s are morons. It made me laugh out loud on several occasions. I would never treat my wife like that, but that doesn't make this bloody funny! XD
