Keep slaughtering the cats.

Hey Casey, nevermind the mario loving immature kids in this community.. Ye I'm talking about all you mongos bellow me. Who cares if a cat was killed or not. They are uncapable of appreciating something different. The style was unique compared to all the other stuff I've seen, it was nice atmosphere blended with a good track and generally better than some zelda vs sonic battle. You shouldn't expect much mature/objective feedback in newgrounds. Trust me, this was probably one of the milder flashes I've seen compared to everything else on this site.

Hey

Some of the users who have posted here have really shown they don't belong writing reviews. You give a zero then yell (in horrible english, no less) how showing violence towards an animal is horrible and should be censored. If you don't want to see something based on violence, then DON'T WATCH VIDEOS MARKED AS MATURE AND EXCESSIVE VIOLENCE. Marking this as a 0 for that is like reviewing a comedy flash as 0 for being funny.

Honestly, I was set back at just how many people there were who blindly and agrily posted for something as insignificant as showing violence to an IMAGINARY animal. The worst part is I'm sure about 90% of you all eat meat. Your ignorant hypocrisy disgusts me. Do you think that reality operates the way that you condemn this art? That somehow you eating an animal that was imprisoned all it's life is fine, but showing violence to an animal that doesn't even exist is deplorable and wrong. I'm in no way some vegan trying to come down on anyone for eating meat, I just can't stand when people are hypocrites and come down on someone without thinking.

Anyway, I loved the art style in this. I also got a "Donnie Darko" vibe from it. I liked how you use several scenes with contrasts in colors throughout, then you have then change. It was noticable that when you showed blood as white, it didn't really seem violent in my mind, but when it changed contrasts and the blood was red, it suddenly seemed to have gore. It made me think about how my mind associates violence or gore.

One last thing to Moose117: this sort of expression of violence is inside everyone and is NOT something that would mean he needs help. I honestly thought most people would understand this by now after so much Madness and the like, but that comment seems to keep coming up. The violence expressed in so many flash on NG is art for a reason, it's something we all feel and can understand, not a cry for help.

Bizarre- In a good way!

Okay. I like cats. But the whole smashing kitties on the walls were far to brilliant to complain about.
If it would have been a easter movie, I think I would have had nightmares, but since it is halloween, I absolutely adore it.
And the music choise was absolutely brilliant. Not metal, thank god, but still hardcore enough to give the right mood.

I say, the graphics and animation is quite is excellent but maybe a little "Noir" as we could say. The kitty kicking idea was only brutal but unexpected since he had a .... pumpkin on a stick ??? The hand was not as violent since we didnt even see it almost and on my idea you don't hit the big eye but you cut his necj or any other limbs. And seriously... a pink squirrel. And if he is "too old for Halloween", why the hell would he become a mass murderer just for this complaint. Overall it was fabulous but i hope you will come up with better ideas.

PS: Oh i loved the ending !!!

Don't bother pointing out holes in logic. It's meant to have a kind of cliche horror movie feel, and again, I thought of the idea rather quickly. Although, I do aplaud you for picking up on the noir style I was going for their. You're one of the first to mention it.

The cat kicking is supposed to be brutal. Like a second thought. He doesn't care enough about it to bother to lean down and stab it, but is enough of a psycopath to still kill it. He's just a dick, really. :)
