Violence for the sake of violence and little to no plot. Not to mention a person's leg would not be cut off that easily.

Well, at first the leg wasn't going to come all the way off. He was just going to get stabbed in the knee and fall over. But that's not as much fun to animate, so it ended up becoming more exaggerated. Same thing with the cat exploding.

But what the fuck? I'm not saying that anyone is too old for trick or treating (although I've been told that character in the flash looks like me). There is no message to this flash. Not anti-cat or trick or treater in any way. Just pure, um...entertainment? Meh.
