Reviews for "Cube Core"

Some problems

Only briefly does any text imply that the pipes puzzle reveals a number. I really didn't understand until I attempted several times. Someone posted one of the main codes in their review and I noticed something pretty funny... You don't have to charge the core to finish the game if you know the pipe code. LOGICALLY, you cannot have known the pipe code unless you charged the core (unless you just shot in the dark after staring at the pipes), but still it is a bit of a plotline error.

It's kind of funny that with the core and the remote, you can finish the game without greenlighting ANY rooms at all!

Lazarou responds:

the core has to be charged in order to be useable in the cube.

But yes, if you have played through the game once, certain parts are skippable. I used the green light system so that players knew when they had completed that part of the puzzle, kind of keeps things moving so people dont get stuck thinking they still have to do stuff with the analyser etc.
Yes, I guess the clue about the pipe number could have stayed on screen a little longer, if you miss that then you can probably get stuck for a long time :P

Kool... great game

wow, great second core game, but sphere core was a little longer, enjoyable anyways!

nice game

i got two mog rats. one at the begining of the tubes one at the end.
this game is kinda easy!

Well made but a little plain.

The graphics were nicely done and it was clearly enjoyable enough for me to have finished it, but for a simple thing like a point-and-click a game usually has to have either more story to it or (and) more gameplay than the few minutes this game has.

The only thing I didn't like was that when you clicked on any item it told you "That won't do anything" even though the item was useful in that room. It threw me off because I didn't realize you could drag the items to use them, so I was lost for a few minutes thinking all of the items were useless. So a little clarification on how to use an item would've saved a little bit of time.

All in all though, it's a nice, simple game good for some quick entertainment, but not so much if you have more time to spare.

It was OK

I knew I probably had to cut the chair with the knife.. I just didn't know there was a BACK side to it
