blown away.

Alot of flash animators, when trying to make films that work on 'longer' formats, i.e. telling a story that needs more than 7 minutes to tell, usually just cant make their things of professional quality.
THIS is professional quality. Art direction as good as any Disney or Ghibli film, charming characters whose personalities are interesting and generate chemistry, great animation. It's all here.

It's been so long since Autumn Tree I was beginning to think you'd retired. Or died. Or gone back in time.

This is a wonderful short, and I cant wait to see the next episode.
On another note, the voice acting in this is top-notch. The characters SOUND believable and dont just sound like some guy talking into a cheap samsung 2-dollar mic reading lines off a sticky note.
Now THIS is the sort of flash that should be in the top 50.

think wynand pretty much summed it up, great storyline, i dont normally watch movies over a few minutes long, but was ready for a half hours stretch here, interesting stuff. and your skills and animations surpass most thing we find on newgrouds, great audio and visual, really impressed, keep up the great work, cant wait for the next one. 10 stars!

i go here to laugh, but when i find a gem like this, that is touching, i can't help but think artist like you can go somewhere with this. I'm a writer, and i must say this is amazing! the scarecrow and all his friends i can see somewhat represent a bit of all of us. just like humans they don't want to be alone, they think there is "a better place" like we all do. its touching. but this is also very witty and funny, just at the right moments. keep this up.

Thank you alot! I'm glad you noticed that about the characters. I don't want to make them heroes or saints, i'd like for their personalities to be recognizable for everyone

smooth animation, good voice acting, nice story...
I think Tom is a bit "bad", but in the good sense. I mean, I think he's cheating on Jack and Roy.
Anyways, good work, keep it up.
