Reviews for "B7 Lance Battle Final Remaster"

Awesome!

It is like I got sucked away in a the game!
Keep up the good work! 5/5 10/10 + faved

Burn7 responds:

Don't get sucked too hard. That bursts blood vessels, and not only will it taste weird for the sucker, it will hurt for the suck-ee.

Impressed? I am!

This song kicks ASS, and for me to say this is no small feat. I am among the most hardcore metal fans out there, and I am often very picky about what I consider great metal and kick ass. THIS, my friend, is both.

The intro is very appropriate, but the best part is you don't even need it for the song to still be awesome. I also love the fact you kept the 8-bit synth as part of of the song, but it fit and it wasn't overused. In fact, every single part of the song it debuted in it kicked ass. The riffs are awesome, non-repetitive, the drum fills are awesome, the song maintains a heavy, ass-kicking, metal pace throughout. In fact, this song is almost like a hybrid of Jeff Loomis and Dethklok. I love it!

I can find nor nitpick anything reasonably negative from this song, and I declare it awesome. 10/10, 5/5. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go dunk my head in a bucket of water, as my hair is on fire and my face is melting

Burn7 responds:

Thank you. I'm really glad I'm getting reviews from metal fans who are specific about their metal. I'm exactly the same way. There are some really, really great metal artists out there. And then there is a lot of just... shit.

Seriously, seeing reviews from dudes like you are the reason I still write metal.

Thanks for being an indie supporter, even if it's just because I wrote a single cool song :D

This song is quite cool.

I've listened you Ultimate Version billions of times but when I saw "Remaster(ed)", I was like: Man! I have to listen to this! I really liked it, but, there is always a BUT, sometimes, somethings didn't sound really cool. BUT (again) I have to admit if people didn't heard the Ultimate Version, it's a REAL "masterisation" (don't even
know if it's spelled like that or exist, translating is difficult ehh...)!

I don't know if I should called it a flaw but... there are few things which I don't get really. The 2nd dragonite cry was ALMOST "unhear-able" (miss-spelling maybe), considering of your Ultimate Version I was like hoping up and down on my chair to follow the rythm of Dragonite (sound freaking weird but, yeah).

Sometimes, guitars was a little bit low pitch compared of your Ultimate Version (or maybe it's me) which is higher pitch. If I'm right, well I prefer the high pitching (^_^).

At least there is something I really more liked in this version. The SOLO! Your solo in 2:37 or so, first few seconds was so AWESOME. I don't know if it,s the reverb or something called like that... but it's got an echo I couldn't get rid of it (>_<).

After all this. There is the result:

Lance Battle - Ultimate Version < B7 Lance Battle Final Remaster(ed)

I put (ed) because it SHOULD be "ED" >>. I know newgrounds have a max limit
size of character in title. Actually, I'm downloading about 15-20 music of yours to do a playlist when I'm playing my MMORPG (MMORPG's songs SUCK COCKS REALLY BAD (-_-) ...). (Useless comment, but yeah (^_^) )

One more thing, I didn't really like the ending O_o... I don't know why? Doesn't fit I guess but it's make sense. Maybe billions times of looping makes me addicted to looping? Oh well. Thanks.

Burn7 responds:

I had a really huge response to this, but retarded Google Chrome crashed on me while I was typing it. So I'll try to keep it short.

The 2nd dragonite cry was super downmixed because I wanted to make it more of a kind of... treat to those who could hear it. It wasn't supposed to be obviously in there, and only if you'd heard the Ultimate Version would you even notice how downmixed it was.

I also wrote a lot of the metal parts in the rhythm down an octave because I've been listening to heavier metal lately and I wanted to try and show that in my more current songs such as this.

I'm glad you liked what you did, sorry I couldn't make it 100% as awesome as you were hoping but I am glad you liked it as you did :D

yikes!

love it dood!
cant wait for black and white to hit the streets dragonite rocks.

Burn7 responds:

I probably won't be playing that, but I do think it will make tons of people very Pokemon happy. Which is always good.

Childhood Nostalgia

This is one of the best covers of a video game song I've ever heard. I have absolutely no criticism for this, except that you need to keep doing what you do.
Thumbs up. (Y)

Burn7 responds:

Rock and roll, glad you found it badass and stuff!
