Heres the thing. I thought the way you synced the lyrics was REALLY cool, like awesome.
However, I think you should not have had that been the whole video.
It would have been an amazing "part" but not all of it.
Also, the part with the black bars that changed height in sync to the music was too long, you are going to lose people there.
Anyway so yeah, it was pretty cool and I watched the whole thing, however if you had at least had something in the bigger picture happening during all the synced words it would have been less repetative. Really cool though, I like the song.

well i mean the synced words WEREN'T everything. There were also other parts, like the ending, gears, boy-on-bike part, and the bars part you mentioned that didn't have the camera following line part at all.

Pretty good, but not really my thing.
I think you did good with the flash, its just the music and the type of flash arent really my thing :D.
I think you did a good job with the syncing, even though it did kinda slow down a bit, it didnt really fall back too noticeably. But, practice makes perfect, so if you keep at it you might be able to get it to work better. Graphics although somewhat intense werent really attacking my processor that hard, but since it was a bit of a big video my connection was screaming at me for a few minutes. Sound quality was good, but there were a few parts where the sound kinda faded in the middle. Other than that, good job.
As for people leaving shit reviews, yeah, I hate them too. Too many good flashes have these "WTF!!1! THIS SUX!!! LEAVE NG U F4G!!!!!111!" messages on em.

The song was a bit out there for me but its your flash your choice, no points lost there....
The animation was done well, it sync'd up nicely considering the randomness of the lyrics (specially enjoyed the black bars at the end fading up and down to the beat, rather hypnotic). The lyrics were a little hard to read but lets be honest they didn't make sense to begin with (as you stated). The scrolling does tend to get a bit monotonous, specially with that dull voice droning on. I felt like I was watching a Bjork video...only with less feeling. But then again thats a personal opinion and I won't take off points for that either, I vote on the technical not the artistic qualities of a piece. The hard work you put into this is apparent and I am definitely looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for NG.
Last but certainly not least....I think you should change your comments to "READ THIS AFTER WATCHING" because I automatically went into this expecting exactly what your comments told me to expect...a sub-par piece done by a whiny kid who bitches when his art doesn't make top 5 because "assholes" voted low. No offense but welcome to NG. I've seen total shit make Daily 1st and great pieces blammed, thats the way it works and no amount of...WAH WAH WAH is gonna change that. Keep submitting and fuck the rest...if YOU can sit back at the end of the day watch this and feel proud of your work then you win, regardless of other people's opinions (including this one).
