Very Surrealist: ie: Salvador Dali

With the shading, use dark blue tones such as Ultramarine blue or phthalo blue (to name a few) to give a 3D effect. Black flattens things, blue makes them "pop" out, as discovered by the French Impressionists.

Nice work though! Hope this helps. xxx

Bit-Master responds:

You have a good point, but in my defense I was aiming for certain color schemes with most of these guitar pieces, some more limiting than others. I will keep that in mind for my later work, though, thank you.

Beautiful

This is one of the most stunningly beautiful pieces of art i've seen in a long time. The colors blend in perfectly along with the shading. Out of curiosity, did you use an actual guitar to draw this, or did you do it freehanded?

Bit-Master responds:

Thank you very much, and yes it is a real guitar.

This is excellent

except the perspective on the bottom dial is a bit off. It's longer than it needs to be at such an angle whereas the top one is a bit too short. Even at that angle I sort of view it as a bit hard to grab if I were to come in and want to play the guitar a little.

Other than that I really love this. I also have a problem with perspective in some of my works...so I know how annoying that can be.

I'm sure you'll get a good grade for this. *thumbs up*

Bit-Master responds:

That is amazing that you noticed that.

Cool...

Really like the colouring and shading, is this guitar for real? or just a concept?
liked how you labelled the knobs Volume and Tone.. the amps a Laney i'm guessing?

Bit-Master responds:

It is real. Nicer to look at than to play, though. The amp is a Hartke.

haha wow!

i'm always impressed with colored pencil of any kind.
it really does look incredible.
but nit picking...wouldn't the guitar itself be glossier?
anyway its killer, especially the flower print and the shine on the metal

Bit-Master responds:

It would be glossier if it wasn't 30+ years old. =P
