Reviews for "SSBM: The Knee"

yeah i agree with seymourglass26

its not that the knee isn't a good move but its not "industructable". its easily avoidable and if you ask me its a typical newb move that anyone can catch onto if they wanted to. But then again if you are a newb then i can see how one might get all excited over getting one of these off. Every character has got their own abused moves that can be made into a flash like this one but that doesn't mean they are unbeatable. Sry if i come off a little strong but i have been an ongoing SSBM fan waiting for brawl to come out and just wanted to set the record straight. I think if you were going for an accurate abused move/glitch you should try making one on wave dashing next time. although ive seen enough of those videos made before it really is something that can give a player an unbeatable edge if you perfected right. neways overall id say it wasn't a bad movie but it seems like this movie was more for your love of the knee then to entertain us, thats all.

uhh

uhh body its a simple forward-A air move. nothing special. yeah it has the shock hit but so do many other moves such as ganondorfs down-A air move its just something they programmed in the game for a little reward if you time yourself right

not all that powerful...

sorry to disappoint you but that knee is really not all that...i know alotta amazing ssbm players, im just okay with it. i own some people, and get owned myself a little more. a simple ganondorf's stationary a-tap could stop that thing in mid air. my friend was pissing his friends off with it, so he tried it on me and...yeah, didnt work.

I'm sorry, but I can't let this go.

I admit, it was a cute submission. I admit, it is a powerful move. I admit, you have good experience. HOWEVER. You openly telling us that you base everything you do on the knee... That's fine, it's up to you, but it may be one of the biggest mistakes you will ever make. These games are designed for the demonstration of skill through fast fingers on the controller, a keen eye, and knowledge of your opponent. I actually have a friend who has a love to use the very knee move you mentioned. I have suffered many KOs this way, but the more I lose, the stronger I get. I have eventually learned that the knee can be countered in enough ways to grant me victory, even if only sometimes. The reason I think this would be a big mistake on your part is the fact you are not trying anything new it seems. If you are, I'm sorry, it just really seems that way. Please just realize that basing all of (or nearly all of) your skill on ONE controller maneuver is actually considered a novice tactic. Like in the original SSB, when Fox's laser could stun, somebody positions themselves just right, and fires Fox's laser over and over, preventing our movement for a bit. They don't do ANYTHING else, and were eventually knocked down hard, because my friends and I just said "Screw This" and formed a temporary alliance until he was out of lives, or until he got the hint. I'm letting you know right now, this is a dangerous risk you are taking. Once SSB: Brawl comes out, there will probably be enough ways to counter the knee, or C. Falcon might not even be in there. I read your comment where you said-

"If you feel the need to post about how good you are at this game and how easy you can beat me, please don't. I'm just going to be a dick and say it- I will beat you hands down."

I'm not saying that. Even if I did, we wouldn't know the outcome until we played.
If you win, you proved a point. I have no problem with it, and I'm just gonna move on. If I won, I hope you understand that not expanding your tactics is a big risk.
I'm not going to laugh at you, or brag.

Peace out bud.

this was kinda dumb no offense. Besides all you do is jump hold the direction your facing and press the A button not that hard to use or hit people with and its not that deadly nowhere near as deadly as a falcon punch. if you don't want to be punched/hit while doing the F.punch then just jump and press b so the air time gets based off the actual attack and a less likely way for people to hit you when your falling.
