great movie!

that was a nice movie. i really enjoyed watching it. a good ending for a good movie. i make a smiley for you :)

StupidDream responds:

Cool. Right back at you. :)

nice job but you can do better

It was a good flash but i can onistly say that you CAN make better. What you did with the ending was great though, leves room for thoughts and sequals.

StupidDream responds:

I'm not sure what I would do better. Yes, the sound could be improved, and the animation easily.

To give some perspective, the other animation I have here took me what, four months or solid animation? This one took two weeks. "When I Grow Up" is 6:16 in length, this movie clocks in at 5:00. Given those stats, I could have made this movie roughly 40 minutes long in the time it took me to make the other animation.

I wanted to make sure the graphics were good and would get across the story, but I didn't want to over do it with the detail. Too much would have taken too much time to animate and draw, and I made deadlines for myself.

Thanks for enjoying it.

love it.

man. it was one of the best flash movies i've seen. keep up the good work :D

P.S. loved how no one really said anything xDD

StupidDream responds:

Then I guess I won't either.

Thanks for the review!

Like nothing ive ever seen before..

This flash opens up a genre of its own, a genre with soundtracks that match action and zero dialogue.

StupidDream responds:

Yeah, but if I would have removed the color and made it a plain black and white film it could fit into the silent movie genre, or noir films, whichever comes first.

Definitely isn't original, but I like how I told the story.

wow

Very good concept.. You tried to show war and peace with just some colourfull peices and it was really good!

Great work

StupidDream responds:

Thanks for thinking it was great work.

I should have used the paper airplanes in the story more, to push the idea of it being about a war. That could have worked too.

Really I just had to think of an activity two people could do together that didn't involve them talking.
