Reviews for "Connect Two"

Inventive!

This was really good mate, I liked the idea and how it was all put together, it shows your really thought about what you were going to do.

A couple of pointers though; the sound in one part was cracking and it sort of took away the mood of the piece, and also maybe include more sounds apart from the music, i.e. a whistle blowing or the sound of the pieces going into the board etc.

apart from that it was flawless, good job boyo ;)

StupidDream responds:

I've addressed all of that stuff before. But to give a quick run-down:

I come up with the story as I work on it. No script or nothing. Just what I feel will work next.

Sound is due to flash compression, at 192 KHz sample rate there is no cracking, but that is a high quality file. Compressed, popping occurs.

And I just didn't feel like using whistle blowing, I liked the tuba more. To me it fit.

Thanks for enjoying the rest of it though.

I liked it.

I don't know what it is but i really enjoyed that film. Great job :D

StupidDream responds:

Thanks for liking it even if you didn't really understand it. That says a lot.

Cute... but boring

Seriously, the only reason why I clicked on it was because I thought it was a game. That movie was extremely boring. Better luck next time, okay?

StupidDream responds:

Your fault for going into it with expectations I had no control over? I mean come on, it says "WATCH THIS MOVIE!".

Thanks for thinking it was cute though.

Interesting

This isn't exactly what I expect to see on Newgrounds but that isn't a problem. It looks like you have some great skills but this flash is just lacking when it comes to entertainment.

It was still interesting and I don't regret watching it. Good work overall.

StupidDream responds:

Well I can't complain if you don't regret watching it. As long as it wasn't a waste of your time, then I probably didn't do any harm to your day. Besides, you took the time to write a review.

Thanks for liking it, kind of.

Aw, how cute!

Ah... "Connect Four". A wonderful game from my youth. I liked the animation style, simple but affective. I liked the message from the movie, too. I thought the sound was a little lacking, but for lack of voice-acting it's okay. I'll give it a 4.

StupidDream responds:

Yep, couldn't disagree with any of that.

I'm really happy most people can recognize the game. I guess those colors are just synonymous with the classic.

Thanks for the high scores on graphics and violence.
