I have no idea what cribbage is.
Cards I could do, but I think Alice in Wonderland did that theme up the best.
I do have another animation in mind for this kind of story. However, it wouldn't involve a game, and I have no idea what the setting would be, just the characters.

Thanks. Kinda sucks, because a lot of the time when I think people think the sound sucks or the animation sucks or whatever, that is actually me paying homage to something else. The parts that people feel are creative really aren't, while the stuff that I feel was pretty sharp nobody really notices.
I won't explain though until I see a review that attacks me on what I'm talkin about.
A brilliantly unique flash
I, in two words - Loved it.
The variety and skill of flash on this site varies from time to time, and after months of portal spamming - we get things like this. Unique little gems.
There's nothing i like more than something original that only you could pull off, and this does show what you can do when you set yourself to it.
The graphics weren't super - but hey! I'm awful at animating! The fact the effort was there (I did love the graphics on the CONNECT 4 board) and time spent on the idea - it has all come out well for you.
And to agree with the other guy - I could definately see this used in a Pre-School. It's not too long to bore children, and it's definately entertaining.

That's always been my intent. When making children's movies, you gotta find a way how to make it understandable to as many people as possible, and as enjoyable.
With both my animations lacking voices or subtitles, any kid from any country that knew what the basic premise behind the game is could probably enjoy this animation. Same with an adult, but that's harder to work with.

Enjoyable
At first it seemed to me to be a little bizarre, but what can I say... it had my attention until the end. The music was fine- it suited the actions and the mood of each scene very well, and I don't see why it should do more than that.
Also, the title is very clever!

Glad someone thought the title was clever. Honestly, the title for my other animation I enjoyed a lot more, because you really wouldn't understand it at all until the very end, and even if you thought about it for a bit.
Maybe not though.
I just like to tell the entire story in my titles, or summarize them or what have you.
I have no idea what to name my next animation though. I have pretty much everything else worked out but that. Such a crazy thing to have difficulties with, huh?
Overall, Excellent movie!
This is some exceptional work! The movie seems to take a little too long, but other than that, the storyline was good, the creativity was excellent, and I think you really have talent! Congrats!

Yeah, I intended it to be 3 minutes or so long, but after adding a few scenes it bloated out to 5 minutes. Still though, I could have taken 15 minutes to tell the exact same story.
In my opinion I believe it goes by too fast, but that's just me.
