It is always nice to see actually original music based games. Unfortunately, despite its billing, this game has little to offer.
This is essentially a bare-bones build of Tetris (think less glamour than the NES version) with a rhythm element tacked on. While this sounds interesting, it's really not.
Rather than implement some element that would enhance the gameplay, the rhythm aspect is simply tacked on to the control scheme. That is, you must hit the keys along with a very unforgiving metronome for any input to count. In addition, missing the beat decreases your score. Furthermore, the rhythm element of the game is literally a metronome. The author felt no need to have the rhythm element correspond to the actual music that is playing. There is a specific BPM that you adhere to with no regard to the content of the song.
3/10 for at least trying to innovate, unlike most entires in Rockout.
