new style on an old hat but it's phat
An intermixing of styles this game provides us with a simple idea: "combine Missle Command with Space Invades" which by itself is a good idea but than they added a touch of claas by intergrating the game play with beat of the music, so when the tempo is fast you're worried and excited and then the tempo dips down and gives you calm to gather your baring, from there it's rinse and repeat . Te only thing stoping this from a 10, change, like with most flash games you know it will just keep going so you tire after a bit and lack of interest sets in, however if you added a system of levels, where each level had a new song, it would surly give this game that little extra and put it over the top and over your expectations, also replacing the temporary "power-up", with a more upgrade related system would also help and streamline gameplay. But, lets not end on a down note, over all this is the perfect example of indipendent game creativity: taking something that proof positve works and then taking it in a new direction.
