Reviews for "Mario's Revenge: SE"

I couldn't watch all of it

I really really didn't like this flash.
First of all, it tries to much to follow the "cool Matrix battle scene" fad, and the poor animation combined with the too-short music clips and repetitive storyline ("They will pay...") just made this inot a bore. I expected a Mario flash, not this crap.
And the scare after the loading screen pissed me off too, you twit.

it dosent work

the "back" button on the menus dosent work because the web page link is in the way

Adamiscus is just

taking this a bit too seriously.
First and foremost the author has already stated that it took 25 months of him ON AND OFF of creating this. That doesn't mean that the actual time making it. Furthermore, if you think Kringles had a legendary animation design, you're sorely mistaken.

His madness series is nothing but a bunch of ovals retangles, and some poorly drawn guns. What makes Madness special is how the storyline and violence is still so very well conveyed in such crappy drawings.

You take this too seriously, and frankly, you're being a troll. You have a no-nothing account, and it's upsetting that you bash someones work . Yes, you gave critisim, but no, it wasn't the right way to do it

Keeping your opinions (such as using clocks or DBZ in it) should be left out in reviews. Instead focus on how random the event was to put into it, or chalk it up to shock value humor, which it was apparently.

Also, not everyone can get (good) music without ripping it off of something that isnt public domain. The music portal here is rarely if ever producing anything I'd use in anything I'd make. The use of the overused music and how it didn't fit also contributed to, there you have it, shock value humor. It was trying to hard to be funny, and in essence it then became funny.

Now, to the actual review.

Well drawn. Some nice sound effects. You need to spellcheck it pretty badly, and grammar check it. Also the storyline is pretty confusing. The violence was alright. Could of used more blood. It made me laugh, which is always good. It was so deliciously random that it worked out for the better in the end.

Blammed

Best example of riding the wave of mario fandom... Plot sucked, animation was mediocre, raging mario shown with simple anger lines :S

Try coming up with your own concepts not just riding on everyone else's backs.

No, we do not use drugs while making flash.

M'kay, the best part of this flash was the loading screen, trust me. For me to more easily explain your "skills", i shall bullet them:

Graphics: Your grpahics were poorly animated, i did not understand why Luigi lived in a rock, he lives with Mario. Their were absolutely none or very few facial expressions, if you took the time to put some work into several frames to make this possible, you would be suprised at how this would be number one.
I'm not sure why you did this, and in fact one of the largest flash problems occuring currently is that you were abusing the tween ability, do no get me wrond, tweening is great, but when you overdose on this facter you get bad fight scenes.

Style: How dare you mix Mario, DBZ and the clocks! What were you aiming for here? If you plan on having DBZ in your movie you were to have some damn good fight scenes which was in words-- "overlooked", and if you plan on having clocks in your movie you know you ruin it right their and then. I'm not sure why their was so much transforming but whatever, your flash. What is with the neglect of plot signifigence??? You rushed this movie, it had a chance of being a series, not a rush-a-round brand montage escapade.

Sound: Your down right lazy if you plan on "just" ripping songs from your little iTunes(Tm), and the songs were extremely unfit for this type of flash, it's Mario, not some adult violence and disturbed kind of flash.

Violence: The only reason this was rated thirteen is for little vulgar laguage, nothing more, their was cheaply and or no blood throughout most of this, and when you mess with a fixed-camera angle TOO MUCH it ends up were as nobody knows what had happened.

Interactivity: I repeat, it would of worked as a series, but you rushed this around and because of that, it left of serious case of minor plot signifigence. Do you really think half of the audience understood what was happeing? You neglect facial expressions and time to chat with your enemy before a maniacal Mario goes into a brutality rush.

Humor: If this was suppose to be funny because it included clocks and DBZ concepts and repetative plot twists, you are a very confused child. I was angered by the fact of you insulting groups such as the clocks or even DBZ.

Overall: You abused tweening, you need an english tutor, neglect of facial expressions, no plot signifigence, misuse of concept, too much rushing, no moral value what-so-ever. Abuse of twists,
et cetera. --
I highly doubt this took you 25 whole months to make this!
Either you spent half an hour every other week or just used it as a stunt to rake in attention and sympathy! You have a level 13 Negrounds(Tm) account and i expected much better from somebody with skills! Matt (Krinkels) Jolly said he spent on average 6 months for each of his LEGENDARY Madness episodes in which much better than this and if averaged into a 25 month period, it comes out to be longer than this and also much better.
I hate liars and i show you know sympathy! Maybe next time if you TRULY want to be a Newgrounds(Tm) legend, i suppose you try.
