WOW! Great song with a terrifcly good movie!
Wow man, this is really a verrrry good piece of art. It totally discribes the way popstars come and go. You even payed attention to the small details and I had to watch it a couple of times, lol.
The song is addicting as well, to bad it's not downloadable (I know, I can buy the cd...).
I would say, keep up the good work!
The Definition of Awesome.
In flash animation, there is little better than social or political commentary. Furthermore, there is little better than this aspect of commentary combined with quality sound, well-crafted artwork, and smooth technical aspects. Oh, how I wish there was a submission that could combine all these aspects into an awesome shining star o- oh, wait, there is, it is called, "Popstar."
First and foremost the technical aspects were clear and well done. There was defined animation, not just tweening, and the level of detail was amazing. The crowd actually thronged, Simon Cowel actually hated everything, and overall, it was a very colorful and fun to watch animation. I suppose, if I have to have a complaint here, it would be that some of the pictures flew by a little too fast to understand what was going on, but, it matched the pace of the song, and quite frankly, if I have to watch this animaiton more than once in order to understand the level of its awesomeness, oh well.
As far as your commentary goes, I find it almost impossile - using mortal language - to express how much your choice of detail fit perfectly with what you were saying. The machines that shrank the butt and increased boobs, the digitally enhanced smile, the lack of smarts, all of it fit well into a neat, tidy, little perfect package that you then submitted to us here at Newgrounds.
I will say that I browsed a couple other animations that you are competing with at that other website, and frankly, they don't seem quite as quality as this one. You have my vote. But, regardless of how things go on aniboom, you are a winner here at Newgrounds.

By the gods this song is to addictive i havent gone to work in weeks ( joke :P (for those who didnt understand)) humming it all day driving my co workers mad ;D loved it regards to ur girlfriend, ur toon is a work of genius too sweet movement and overall eyecandy. u shuld start ur own series this rocked hard tnx for this it might ruin my life (joke again)

I can't exactly recall how many times Ive pressed the replay button now. The song is addicting XD mainly for it trailing off at the end, kinda makes me replay it so that it keeps going lmao. I agree with others, its like crack. But also her voice is really catchy, real nice job ^^P
