I find something about this twisted....
and disturbing also but I suppose anything true of the real world is twisted to some degree. I have to say though for all the pinks and blues this movie really did a great job of showing a dark side of society.
The animation was good and pretty smooth. Also I thought the song that went with it was amazing too. Its definatley a movie that makes you think.

I liked it, but im confused lol, "no brains or style required" but if your smart its gonna take a while? and this is basically britny spears's life lol, her songs were quite crap but she was as hot as ever and now she has no hair, which at the end it looks like one of the aliens from oddworld games.. im gonna vote for you, looks like you worked hard on it so yea, but whats with the kid? is she a lezbian? looking at the celebrity breasts exsposed magasine or w/e lol.

As a matter of fact, those same lyrics confused me too! We sat down and started animating and I said to Hania 'Wait, what does that mean exactly??'.
She justified it in saying that if you're a smart girl, then stardom can take a while, but if you're a brainless bimbo (like the popstar), then you make for good celebrity-idol material. Hope that clears it up :)
As for the girl, we wanted to portray the idea of these destructive images saturating the fragile child's mind. She follows in her idols footsteps down the same path of fame (and inevitable misfortune).
Haha, she kinda does look like Abe! With all those drugs she'll probably end up as daft as abe, but not in a lovable cool way.

I completely agree with you on pop stars and the "pop" industry in general being like this. How come "pop" used to be a genre that referred to songs and artists on the top 100 list and now its just a genre of crap that consists of marketing techniques instead of talent or art!?
Back to the video though.. Animation was great. Very fluid and clean. Love how it was all drawn.
As for the song.. your gf has an amazing voice. I've got friends who produce their own CDs and I don't think their stuff is as good as this. Keep it up!
