Very good and also very familiar
I seem to cast my mind back several years to another similar flash entry - Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. Similar scenario, Mario was killed - Luigi seeks revenge. As far as plagarism goes then yeah sure your flash comes close to that line but I do not see anything wrong with your flash. I think it uses everything it has sucessfully to be a decent (fairly serious) flash.
Graphically speaking it can't be any better than it was in my opinion. Hell it's based on sprites and the manipulation is done fairly well. Soundwise, I think you did a great job with the music selection - instantly recognisable and definately appropriate.
Violence is obviously very very high, its a shame most of the main characters died though :(
I couldn't help but chuckle when DK looked at the screen before the bomb went off, and a few other times when it looked similar to rise of the mushroom kingdom.
Overall I'd say a very good attempt at emulating another sucessful flash, and I'd say is set to become a sucessful flash by itself. Kudos to you :)
