Don't you people read the front page news? This is not Newground's fault, it's Troma! They are they ones that are doing the bad job hosting us. Right now we are currently running Newgrounds off some of Troma's lower end servers in Philly. We are waiting to go back to our better server once our new facility is set up in NY. Also Troma has everything else screwed up, along with our email. Any email that has been sent to anyone @newgrounds.com probably won't get read or responded to for days, or weeks, or whever Troma gets their stuff working again. As far as the ads, since everything is screwed up, it is making it very difficult to get the ads running right. We are trying to limit the pops ups. So keep yourselves informed on our situation by reading the front page news. Newgrounds doesn't suck, it's our hosting that sucks, and it's out of our control. Email Troma if you don't like the way things are going with the site.

this isnt a direct insult to Newgrounds, its just to all the pop ups!

I only made it because i get 3 pop ups everytime i goto a new menu ^.^;;

I wasn't trying to complain through this animation.

If i wanted to complain, i would have emailed someone. that would be a whole lot easier and quicker than this.

but then again they have to make money somehow I just want the money to go to a good cause like more bandwith =P If I didn't have to wait an hour for a movie when i'm on cable i wouldn't mind clicking. They really aren't that big of a deal only when you get "Can't load page" yet I still have to click it. Plus I only go one newgrounds at night now to avoid the hassle. Now that i'm working again and I have to get some sleep I don't want to wake up check out some movies during the day and spend 2 hours before work watching 3 movies.

I HATE those freakin pop up ads. I have about 100 at the bottom of my screen right now. This movie is so true... I commend you for it.

For those of you who are new to newgrounds, about 800 pop up ads load everytime you go to a new page or click back. ITS DAMN ANNOYING. This animation is excellent educational material on this matter and should be viewed before extensive use of this website.

To those of you...

that hate the pop ups as much as I do there is another way to almost stop them from constantly popping up without installing one of those stupid "no popups" programs. It's simple, when one appears, DON'T TOUCH IT. Just click back on the main window and contiue with the popup in the background. It works for me, most of the time.
