Reviews for "Dante's Inferno: Canto I"

A bit of culture for Newgrounds.

It will be quite an undertaking, but I hope you will go through the whole story, or at the very least finish inferno. Keep up the good work.

Wow...

There's actually an intelligent piece here on Newgrounds. Personally, I'd LOVE to see you continue this, and go through each of the Cantos, as I'm a big fan of Dante's Inferno. I won't be greedy and as for the entire Divine Comedy, but it'll be interesting to see at least Dante's Inferno, arguably the most famous of the 3 parts.

I liked it

Was good to see someone doing some work on Dante, i personally enjoyed seeing someone elses interprtation of the first canto. I've not studied too heavily into the symbolism, metaphors, connotations (etc) of Dante's work, so in that sense im not 100% as to how accurate a visualisation this is, but really i enjoyed and and therefore don't think that actually matters.

I'm looking forward to seeing the next canto (and hopefully the whole of inferno, although i know that's asking a lot). Keep it up.

well, at least the intention was good...

Don't get me wrong, its impressive to see someone actually making a flash about La Divina Comedia. I'm reading the book right now, and well, some things were not quite well (for me).

The mood must be totally decadent and depressive; you see, the "story" Dante writes is a metaphor, he writes about a spiritual crisis in his life, the characters are all symbols, so his passing through the jungle should have been a bit more "dark".

Another thing, Dante CANNOT be wearing the crown if Virgil IS NOT. It is a symbol of wisdom, and Virgil must carry it.

Any way, its was a good idea, Im looking forward too seeing it progress.

awsome
