I've always had a love for DBZ and games developed about it. It reminds me of Soldat. If you ever played it :P Go look it up if you havn't. Soldat is the exact same style of this, and it's also online, so you can beat the living shit out of other people... just for fun ;)
Wouldn't it be great, if you could make this online? Have people join arena's *like Stickarena online* and have 2 v 2 or 4 v 4 face offs????

Online play is a degree of code im incapable of at this point, but is exactly what i plan on implenting down the track!
Uh... weird.
I didn't quite get the whole combo thing. I got a combo higher than 5 against the computer, the robot thing, and alone, and the attack that is unlocked at Combo 5 is still locked. It happened multiple times. Also, I think the computer's fireball attack is pretty cheap. Right when I pressed "t" to put him in, I get hit by a fireball, and I keep hitting space to recover, but he continuously follows me mashing me in with punches and fireballs before I get a chance to do anything. This would happen about half of the time I tried playing a computer.
The times I tried to play it and wasn't just annihilated, it was actually pretty good. I suggest adding a difficulty level for the computer and limiting its fireball attack, though.
On the attacks not being unlocked, they are only unlocked whilst your combo score is high enough. If you lose your combo, you lose the tech, theey are designed as 'finisher attacks' though if your good you can chain them.
btw you can unlock infinite special attacks by accumulating 100 combos points over the course of the gamemode
The fireball attack is quite random atm, im just putting this in, and since my pc is a lump of shit its hard to test framerate issues, im working on it.
'Recover' will only work if you possess 50% stamina, firebals only deplete health though.
It would be more fun without the ball...
To be honest, I think it would be more fun if there wasn't a ball to worry about. I don't know if it was just me, but I found it next to impossible to aim, and it was too much to think about for something so fast paced.
Maybe you could add a free fight option to the game where you just fly around and fight people?
DW thats what im eventually working towards, and the ball game will become a 'mini-game' of sorts
