you can only take sticks so far
this is pretty much as good as a stick flash can get, but other non stick flash are better. do normal characters next time

I disagree.
Let's be realistic
First of all I would like to congratulate you for your achievements. Not only you managed to do a complete and honorable series, but you have developed skills in an incredibly fast way. I've seen all the castle series, and you do diserve some credit for it.
But let's be realistic. It is still STICK. I've seen better animations and I've seen better stories.
The whole "Castle" background is so out of context. It doesn't makes sense, even for a Fiction story.
Maybe it's because you wanted to make something out of your first movie, witch, I guess, was made to be just another meaningless "Stick Action Motion".
A good story must be created BEFORE you do the movies, not after.
NOW WHAT DO AMAZES ME!
THE SOUND EFFECTS AND THE VOICE ACTING AT REPERCUSSIONS. BOY, IT WAS THE BEST OF THE BEST. 10/10 FOR THAT.
So my point is, keep doing the great job on castle, you have many fans, but do a side project, use your creativity to bring up a new story, and bury the stick animation. Put some effort on it, draw non-vectorial background images, use the awesome sound build that you used on repercussions.
And maybe, MAYBE, you can stand along with Breckenwood Series - Tarboy - The Composer - Mastermind - Tankmen - Dare - ETC (The NG Immortals).
I really hope that you come to read this review and maybe reply it.
Uninspired.
Criticise my critique all you will, but I don't feel this flash animation is as worthy of praise as everyone says it is. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, I just don't think it's stunning. I'm not one for long reviews, so i'll cut straight to it:
Good:
Use of slow motion special effects - I thought this was stylish and made it look professional.
Music - fitting. Not stunning selection but suited the movie.
Bad:
Voice acting - the vocals were stereotypical of the characters and were quite monotonous. I would have expected the general, in a situation such as he was in, not-to-speak-quite-like-this.
Camera angles - could have been more interesting... at times i felt the action and the style was compromised by the angle of the shot.
Stick men - there's only so much artistry you can do with stick men. More humanoid figures would have raised my rating up significantly. Stick men, 3d or not, don't make it feel realistic - something a flash like this seems to aim for.
Overall - not bad, but not amazing. Clearly you spent a lot of time on this and I dont want to make it sound like it was a waste, but i feel it shouldn't be way up there with the score it has. Still, time makes the greats on newgrounds. If it is as deserving as people say, so be it!

Not bad.
It wasn't bad, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I've never really liked the whole Stickman shtick but I don't want that to domminate this view as I myself would find that mean. I can see this must have taken you a large amount of time, but the characters were so stereotypical. The plot has been used over and over again, just, not staged in a castle. I have to admit, I did enjoy the helicopter scene. I found it very realistic, of course, I would have given this a much higher score if it was not all stickmen and guns. Maybe a view decent sword fights and hey, maybe a little magic done in a manga style would have total changed my view of this entire thing. Infact, if you tweeked the story line a little and added the whole manga style I would have given this a straight 8 - 10. Besides from that, I think you choose a good lot of music that fitted well with what was happening and the blood was very detailed. Besides from that, I just didn't like this.

I don't exactly think this is very original. The invisible arms that slice people into pieces? Sounds a lot like Elfen Lied. The voice acting could be better, but the animation was pretty good.
