Can't knock him for graphics. But c'mon Street Life was the only really good thing he ever made. Love the music at the start.

It probably was cool back then.
It was decent
Even for the time, the animation here is almost non-existent. The whole thing seems overly dramatic and silly too (like how the cigarette drops at the mere asking of a question).
Still, this is an ooooooold movie and for the time it would have been seen as pretty good. Looking back now, it's obviously been overshadowed by many many advancements in animation, but it still manages to be entertaining for its short length.
