Reviews for "Mount Newground"

Not bad

I liked this, of course it's not as good as redline but it's different. That itself makes it unique. I wouldent change a damn thing. Good Job!

SirNightOwl responds:

Cheers :D
I like the name btw, TurkeyonAStick would appreciate that!

i'm not sure if i like this

Graphics
There are a lot of creepy-shit-paintmade-pictures and thats why you get only 6. Next time try to choose the better ones.

Style
I like the concept but the realization is bad. 7.

Sound
Yeah. That's it! 9!

Violence
I don't remember but take 3

Interactivity
Was there one?

Humor
hmm.. 4

And the overal.. Paparam.. 6.. That's it.

SirNightOwl responds:

Choose better ones? Do you even understand the concept of a colab especially aimed at EVERYONE. You know what, I love all th citrues even the 'not so good' ones because everyone had a chance to join in, I think considering the majority of reviews were brilliant your review and reasons for, are a bit "I'm on a high horse" next time join in and see if you can bring the graphics up eh?

Good concept....

Although not my kinda of flash, i do think this is a well planned peice, that must have taken time to arrange.
A few good artists there that sparked my intrest, but as many people have said, there were parts which looked like there had been no effort put in.

maybe if there is a next time the people could make a small animation loop, to keep the intrest as towards then end it tends to bore.

SirNightOwl responds:

YEah I can see your point in some aspects, keeping the balance between the number of entries and attention span expected by the viewer is always difficult when creating a collab, but thanks for the review :D

hats off to all who worked hard in this collab.

The song was brilliant and I liked the end-reveal and the peak animation, but there just didn't seem to be as high a standard of creativity as in the Red Line.

I really liked Memb's - nice use of custom brushes.

There were a few other pictures that were really technically accomplished. However, many of them seemed like pictures that had little or nothing to do with the mountain and would work equally well if the mountain was replaced with, say, a house, an abstract plane or a grassy field or whatever.

It was somewhat enjoyable to watch though and hats off to all who worked hard in this collab.

SirNightOwl responds:

Cheers, the quality of some of the entries was lacking, but we specified from the start that everyone could join, so we kind of shot ourselves in the foot a little bit. But yeah Memb's entry was cool.

Not that great.

I mean coming from such a great masterpiece as the red line, I was expecting a lot out of this submission, and what I got was a lackluster submission. I mean it wasn't bad, but I mean, it wasn't great ether. The submission itself seemed to be a bunch of random drawing pasted together, which would have been great, had the drawings all been made well, which they weren't. Not something I liked.

SirNightOwl responds:

The red line was great! But thank you for being honest I'm just sorry you didn't appreciate it though :D

But I still love you.
