Reviews for "Project Pravus"

Started so well...

On the theme of the last reviewer, started well, then kinda ended not so well, bu I have a suggestion. Use this as the begining to a game, you have to find out who kille you and why kind of thing, or end up in limbo forever. you could still make it scary, and have othe ded souls arround to freak the player out and give a haunted feel.
Overall it's a great start.

Really High Hopes

When I saw the screen shot for this game, it looked interesting, therefore making me play it. The photography and sepia tones are inviting. Sadly, I was left feeling incomplete. I've seen through your replies to others' comments that you've learned from this game and will take them into account next time but I'd like to give constructive comments myself if that's okay.

The fact that rooms can change upon a 2nd visit is a nice twist and makes the ol' "Read The Instructions" more important than ever. The part that let me down was the fact that there were places where the hand turned to a cursor that never materialized into later places to be used. Perhaps that and more rooms to associate with would have made for a better game. Sadly, it was short and left you wanting more out of it.

The game did show lots of work was put into it and I commend you for that. I feel you definitely have the makings of one of the better possible Escape The Room game-makers. I wish I had half of the programming and design knowledge that you have proven you have. Keep up the good work and would love to see any other games you've created since.

I liked it!!

not amazing but not terrible, the scares were a bit cheap but it created atmosphere for sure. this game has potential!

The game wasn't bad, far from it but it was to much of a cliché, the story wasn't really anything new (but it might have when it was done, just looked and saw that it won a prize in '06) and I already knew whom the victim was around the time I reaches the bedroom. I'd really loved some kind of story twisting of some kind.

It was pretty easy which is a plus as I'm kind of dumb when it comes to these kind of games but as I didn't read the Author comment I was a bit stuck with the keys (and the key holes, remember to click in the key holes).

Not really my cup of tea and I wasn't scared but I didn't feel like I wasted any time so it's worth playing.
