Not Quite
Wonderful art, wonderful and suitable music but animation is lacking, making it hard to watch. Animation is choppy.

Excellent work
However, I get the impression that the voice acting is a little forced, which makes the atmosphere of the short very, very different. On the other hand the animation is top notch, the action scenes were well animated and none-the-less impressive. But being pedantic I thought the style was very... Rushed for an assassin who has supposedly been trained. For that extra effect reduce the amount he moves and perhaps try letting the opponent move a little more, which would portray a degree of skill from the main character. Anyway other than that, the storyline is interesting and I look foward to a sequel. Good luck!
lacking
well, for a newgrounds flash you did very well in comparison to others. i respect your use of FBF and the effort you put forth. overall a very nice little movie. but a couple things that stuck out.
your style is great, it flowed pretty good but i couldent really understand what you were trying to show. for example, there was very little story development if any, so you couldent really read it to well. and you also contradicted yourself, lol.

also there was very little detail, and it was kind crude. i understand the flash limitations but i woulda polished this a bit more, but it was watchable. but what really stuck out was the clearly copied picture of 'asuka', the namless girl shown in one scene. =P hehe, sorry i had to point that out.
also the voice acting was a little harsh but i always say that. personally i like to hear what the charecter is fealing, and clearly.
bassically, you may have a developed story but you need to present it and develop it. this movie was kinda empty.

hey this submission wasnt to bad i mean your art style is prettygood and you have a good basis for your story your artwork needs to be tidied up around the edge seems to scribbly on the edge work you have good concept of light and shadows as for your audio how ever you did it needs alot of work and i mean alot how ever for your first subbmision of this series it wasnt bad just make theese few changes and i can see it doing well
Good animation, worn out plot and theme.
The animation is great and the style is good. But this theme is terrible. How corny and repetitive. Kain? His name is Kain? How many Kain's are out there? I lost count. On top of that, he's an assassin. Last time I checked assassins moved in stealth. They dont fight straight up like that. I think you need to renew your creative license, cause it was so damn typical. The chosen one/forsaken one, nameless character, wears black and is a skilled killer, carries a SWORD, and damned SWORD! Assassins dont use swords! The dialogue was pretty unoriginal too. "Peace is a memory." Maybe a -distant- memory, but just calling it a memory shows you don't take your dialogue too seriously. "I took out specific targets." Specific? Is that the best way to describe a type of target? Because last time I checked a target was already specific. Get someone else to write your dialogue, and a new voice actor. The combination of the two made me want to just not read the subtitles, and keep it on mute.
