I didn't really like it as well, but I am not going to tell you, you suck.
IMHO this was really repetitive as said before but, that might be because of the lead is very ear splitting.
Also good luck to your friend, send him my best wishes and I agree, video game would be the best category for this.

heres some not so rude advise...just so u know..this is not a 10...im giving it a 6 because of 2 reason...1 it isnt that great....but as u already know it could use a bit of a touchup so im not gonna zerobomb you because of 1 song that didnt work out...trust me i have a few x.x....second...i things just having some sort of pad without anything else is pretty boring...but...it is a video game song after all :3 u here that alot in pokemon xD but hey...if u have better stuff that thing...GREAT! i'll go listen...but if not heres a big tip...go watch some warbeats tutorials....a dude told me to go do that and ive gotten alot better at making music since then....like today i finished a L'amour Toujour cover...u should check it out ^^....but anyways back to my long ass comment....(never have wrote a comment this long)...i think all the flamers in this site are pretty bad so dont ever let them get to u xD i dont....anyways peace easy bro and keep makin those beats!!!

I'm 14 and I don't get why people around my age group would like it. Anyways, the song kind of sucks. It might be good as a background music where I'm not exactly paying much attention to it, but when I actually listen to it it's annoying and repetitive. Try adding more variety next time.

Okay broheem, I'm gonna have to break this fucker down in sections.
The intro is far too abrupt; in fact there is no intro. The song immediately begins into a 2 minute long chorus. You may argue that this is because it's a loop, but does that really excuse it from such a lazy intro?
That wailing synth has gotta be fixed. It's too loud, and goes off key on some notes. Not to mention it spans the entire song. Way too long.
That subtle but dull arp in the background is too muddled amongst everything else. It should've been seperated; apply an FL Stereo Enhancer.
The drums sound like doodoo, honestly. That snare is all over the EQ spectrum, and the kick is too low. A high end on the kick would complement it.
Just a couple things that need to be fixed bro:
No wailing synth throughout the entire loop
Fix off key notes
Enhance, and adjust drum freqs.
Just change the drums actually.
Drum pattern should actually be rhythmic
Dull arp in the background needs to be enhanced.
Mastering needs to be done badly
There is a really high freq hissing noise throughout
High frequency sounds like that can cause spontaneous diarrhea, I would fix that

How did this ever get into the top 5 ?.
It is not even near a good, well mastered song.
It seems like you haven't mastered this song at all.
The main "lead" (barely worth a lead but ok) is WAY to high pitched.
Even for "fierce game developers" (who probably would vomit at imagining this "song" in one of their games).
Then you have made an arpish synth to support the lead.
It barely contributes to the song and the sample is nearly as ugly as your lead choise.
Then you have made some percussion.
This is not bad, not good, just decent.
It could have been better if you did not terribly mess it up with bad mastering.
You should let the filter come up a bit higher.
And this practically goes on the entire 2 minutes and 19 seconds.
No single variation in sounds exept for some minor (ugly) changes in an attempt to make a melody which you miserabely failed at.
Also a loop is not that long eh ?, this is more of a song than a loop.
There were a lot of percussion changes though, so i would rather call this drum & bass. No idea what your previous genre was.

Lots of my best mixed songs, full of changes and variations don't even get 10 downloads and 1 favorite. thats what puzzle me.
You see, I agree with each and every point you made here. Its a quick made song, mixed to have the loudest lead as possible, with almost no variation and an arp BG that is basically following the main melody.
A friend of mine (Rabone) asked me to post this here telling me he liked it, and Timraband said he enjoyed it too.
And there it was. I knew the song would be zeroed a lot, thats why the title. But at the same time, I felt that it would be dear to some people, as it actually is, with the favorites, and some good scores/reviews.
Now, don't get me wrong. I agree with each and every point you made. But I can't ignore that, while the song isn't POPULAR, its special for the people who liked it.
