Liked this flash, especially since it parodyises something highly addictive.
My story is that i got highly addictive to runescape at first grade in high school. I played it like every day. My grades were very low and i wasn't much with any friends anymore. That was until six months later, when i was bored and was thinking a bit. And then i got to that runescape was a pretty meaningless game and was destroying my life, so i quit.
Good that this flash gives out a warning to the folks :D

I think its a good thing you experienced runescape at a young age and developed a tolerance for that type of game early on. Personally, I started when I was 11 and stopped when I was 13, however, a lot of people start in their later-teens, and their addictions last much, much longer. its pretty sad :0

I have played RuneScape for a long time, and there are a few flaws, which are usually funny.
1. This trade limit is mad, unless this was an early version of the game.
2. Spamming is usually when you flood the screen in my view.
3. You can't kill anyone in normal places. (You should have pointed it out that it was PVP or something like that.)
But all that just made it funnier... I presume that is why you did it like that!
For all that, you get a 9.

Well, I made this back in 2006, and to touch on points 2 and 3, I was too lazy to add over 9000 textboxes with annoying/flashy text bla bla, however your point remains as that was a pretty big problem in 06'. In 06 there was the wilderness as everyone knows, and the background on that screen shows a typical wilderness scene, however I do understand that SOME people might not get the concept, however most will.

I quit... hmm let me think... 8th grade, sold account... 3 1/2 years ago was when I permanently quit after selling my account to a friend for $50 :p Before that, I started in the 6th grade and continued for about a year and a half, quit for nearly a near, and went back for 4 months.
They've really nerfed the game since then.
My sister had a friend that played RS using dial-up, and he was able to get Guild Wars working to a playable state. Guild wars was an alright game. I never got into the expansions though... Doesn't require a ton of grinding since theres only 20 levels. After that point its all basically skill/combining spells/skills and crap. That whole genre sort-of died for me though... I'm pretty glad it did though, considering the effects seem to be worse in the 15-20 year-old bracket of people...

a sad fact
I got more entertainment out of playing this, then I did playing RuneScape itself. It really amazes me how you could be addicted to such shit! Maybe they use magic... Well who cares I don't have to deal with sore swollen eyes and a burning index finger anymore. =D a great game and I recommend this to any currect RS players over RS.

Well, I use a Logitech Marble Mouse, so technically i'd have a sore thumb, and I think it gets more sore playing FPS', however FPS' (and countless other genres) are actually "fun"
