Reviews for "Morbus"

needs work

to tell you the truth, it was pretty fun in the begining. It is a slow paced game wich most wldnt even bother to play, speed it up make it more intense it would be more interesting overall its pretty average. Great idea with extra characters tho.

It was good but

it was way too short i mean you hardly even get to lvl i got to lvl 8 and i killed every monster in the game and i still didnt get enough money to get all the best stuff untill i killed the last guy and after that wtf is the point since there are no more monsters or anything after him would have been much better if it was just like 5 quests longer and add a few more towns maby 3 or 4 and its not realy a big deal getting so little money off monsters if there were more quests then if you did them you could have enough money to get nice stuff but the game doesnt realy matter how high a lvl you are truthfully its posible to beat the whole thing with no weapon armors and be lvl 1 all lvling does is makes the game a bit easyer all in all though it was a good game, but the glitches, lack of things to do and poor effort into making the game balanced realy brought this game down alot if only it was longer it would have gotten a 5/5 from me though i did like alot there was more to complain about :\

crappy end

When i started playing the game i really liked. But when i stopped i hated it! You cant find enough money, i played for 50 minutes and then i got a stupid bug i think i was caught between a red beam and a tree. I killed 3 little red devils but still couldnt get out. Man that end really screwed up your game if you fix that it would be alot better.

fun, with some glitches

I thought the game was fun. However, I thought that I would point out 2 glitches with the Alchemist:
1) normally, his spell attack shoots frontwards, but at some point, he starts shooting backwards for some reason
2) whenever you enter a building or cave, sometimes when you exit, your guy magically jumps very high in the air and has a freefall going down.

Addicting side scroller, I'll admit.

Morbus is a very touchy game. I already beat warrior and traitor, and now I'm trying Jester on impossible difficulty. I know it's crazy. Let me just do a pro/con rundown.

Pros:
-Good graphics (ugly characters but in a good way)
-At least has some humor ("Farting in the class room and blaming someone else" gave me a good chuckle.)
-Good use of shield. (sometimes games like that have horrible shield use)
-Fun enemies

Cons:
-Short (Took me 40 mins. Wish there was a bit more.)
-Money problems (Sometimes you have to pray for cash to drop)
-A little lacking (What's with the kid in the mushroom field that slings at you? Just something to get annoyed at?)
-Jester isn't easy. (Trust me on this).

Overall, the game is great. I love side-scrolling RPGs, especially this. I hope for a sequel!
