Reviews for "StarCraft: The Hunt 2/2"

Well...

Like the last reviewer, I have a couple plusses and a couple minuses.
The Plusses:
+Finally, a vulture that doesn't SUCK!
+The Zantaboan can FLY!!
+Dropship turrets! (Did you know dropships had guns in the SC Beta?)
+I don't care what anybody says, I still love the voices.
+Excellent take on Mind Control, the zerg didn't "change color" or anything.
And the minuses:
-Zantaboan looked a little sketchy chasing the three guys in the cave.
-The green marine died :(
-The dark archons didn't really move or turn.
-The very end was a bit rushed (who rescued the yellow guy? How did the dropship survive 5 scourges? Was that even the same ship?)
-The admiral's decision to keep the Zantaboan was a bit spontaneous.
-Why didn't the protoss abandon the terran after the admiral decided to keep the Zantaboan?

However, you still did a great job and I'm a big fan. Keep 'em coming.

LogFish responds:

Heh yea, I felt bad for Vultures - they get a bad wrap, being so useless and all is SC, so I tried to use them as they probably would in actual military situations, as a high-speed scout. I wasn't aware they had guns in the BETA!
I'm not that happy with the end, it does all happen too quick - I ran out of music and didnt' wanna keep going without music because it would've been really anticlimatic.
The Toss didn't leave because they still wanted the Terrans to kill the zantaboan after the battle - they think it'd kick arse too but ody wanted to be more careful and not risk anything bad happening, like what does, heheh.

2 things

great animation and story.
And great song picks.

very nice

lol i saw this yesterday in the 50 most recent
anyways very well done, its rare to see some flash from the 50 most recent to the top 50 of all time

Definately a big improvement.

Wowwie, that was a great improvement on the last installment's everything, cept maybe the music.

The Goods:
*Artwork was definately better, although the Zerg still could use a little more of a organic feel, (i.e. Random organs just outside their "skeleton" and things like that)
*Styles still very original, you can't find a lot of people who can do 3D animation.
*Faces had a little bit of improvement
*Overall just great
The Bads:
*The voice acting wasn't at it's best, The ghost's voice was a little bit too muffled at points, and sometimes they should have staggering tones, like with more umph when they're in danger and things like that
*More gore...but it didn't look the realist, it could use a bit of touching up.
*Play buttons, scene selection, all that stuff is present.
Great job, i look forward to all your future stuff.

Great Work!

I love this series. You don't have the most excellent drawing skills but you make up for it with a great story. The graphics keep getting better though.

Just try to work on your voices a bit. Maybe turn down the reception volume and get some shouting and emotion into the more tense scenes?

Very well done all around! I can't wait to see the next episode.

LogFish responds:

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give it a shot
