Review for "Popular!"

I don't understand why a game of this caliber is being rated so low by these idiots! I've read some of the previous reviews and some of them seem to have a reading/comprehension disorder because they are getting some pretty shitty ideas of what this game is all about : it has nothing to do with sending a message of "you have to be popular to be happy" or some other stupidity that comes out of their little pea brains ! This game parodies all of that and it shouldn't be taken seriously at all!
It's just good old flash fun in the end!

Now , I thought this game was simply marvelous ! The graphics were very lovely ( kinda Southparkish ) and it had surprisingly gory animated scenes in it which was pretty good! The games in it added to the diversity of this piece ... ! One time you're running away from nerds , the other you are beating up robots ! It must have taken quite awhile to design these 3 separate in-games in it as well as the cutscenes !

I know how hard it is to make a flash movie and a videogame is way harder than that ! Not only you have to do the animation but a shitload of coding to make things work ! Unfortunately , most of these idiots don't seem to give a damn about how long a project like this takes which is very sad because it discourages the artist from making more games ( hence , the reason why there are barely any games in this site anymore apart from those sponsored by ArmorGames...) .

Anyways , I am digressing ...! Your game was superb and by all means keep up with your good work and I wish you the best of luck on your future projects !

nice game u probly get alot of ppl sayin crap about being popular and dat dis game sendz off da rong msg but who carez itz a good game like look at me i was pikd on at skool until i pickd up a knife then no 1 fuckd wid me i wasnt popular but look at me now im 18 workin at sofitel a huge hotel industry earnin 64 bux an hour and i saw 1 of da guyz dat were popular and pikd on me just the other day and and i just laffed as he cleand up the bus stop i was waiting at now lyf fuckd him in da ass hard lol

Good Gameplay, Sound and Graphics

The format of the game is cool and well worked out, but not anything way new. The graphics could have been a bit better but the sound and the humour makes up for it.
Everyone's having a big fit about it, being a bad message and everything; but it's only a game. I think it kinda proves that being popular isn't everything. As long as people don't take the game seriously.
Besides, "popular" people aren't really that popular. I mean how many people actually like the "popular" ones? All the people they think are below them don't like them which leaves only themeselves to like each other. Not really that "popular" eh?

I don´t understand where I ave failed when everyone thinks i am trying to give out a message. Where is the message where a boy in a gay suit is popular and owns I robot army. I meen the story is just too dumb too be taken serously. anyway glad you liked the game:D

But I voted low, cus it gives out the message that the only way you can be happy is if your popular.

And that is just total bullshit.

The graphics are wierd...

But it's pretty darn goodexcept the message given out.

I am not trying to give out any message here. its only a simple lousy game made by a teenager from the little country Norway. me FlashFlower:) The game doesn´t give out any message at all, its just the way of the humor in it. If you are gonna take the game that serously, there are worse messages in it, like:
kelogs makes human meat an sell it as ceral:P or japanese guy gets shot and the police does nothing. ugly glamour/gay clothes is highly respected and cool. you see now, my game doesn´t give out any bad messages, just to the people that doesn´t understand this is a big joke. do you agree? if you don´t you can send me a PM or something. discussing is fun:D anyway glad you like the rest of it:)

I don´t like the message of this.

I voted 0 for this one, and I´m going to tell you why: It´s not because the game is badly made. Graphix & Gameplay are good, Sound is actually very good. It´s the message behind the story: Basically, to become popular & cool, the weirdo has to avoid everything which is "not cool", like nerds, or he has to do what everyone else does, like dress in a certain way. The message of this is clear: If you wanna be popular, you have to become like everyone else. Is this really how you want your world to be? A world of "popular" lemmings, all of them trying desparately to be cool, because everybody else says so?
Next time try to give the weirdo a choice: Become another bland and stupid lemming, or maybe find his own way through this, and get people to respect him for what he is, for the person he is.

Respect and Coolness, my friend, doesn´t come from conformity. It comes with being yourself and standing up for it.
