Great tutorial but..

Great tutorial. Graphics, they were'nt so good.. so I couldn't vote for more than 3... Even though I understand this is a tutorial and not supposed to be a masterchief of extreme graphical talents.. I just can't give it more than a 3. Style, very nice... easy to navigate around, etc.. Sound, it's a tutorial, no need for sound.. But the music wasen't really well chosen fo a tutorial, where we're supposed to be relaxed to concentrate.. Violence.. Ohh! The gore! Blood spilling everywhere! I gave the overall an 8, because it's missing something very important, or else I'm simply blind:
You didn't talk about sounds! I've started playing around with Flash 8 today and I can't find how to play a certain sound on a certain frame. Anyways, maybe.. No.. It's probably because I'm dumb =] Anyways, very good tutorial, I'm sure I would have learnt much more than I have if I had the patience to read everything till the end. But I did learn a thing or two. Great tutorial.

I got flash and there was nothing that would promove canibalism more than not knowing what half the stuff are for. So whenever i look at my arm and see no teeth marks ill think of you :D

p.s. didnt liked the music selection, was irritating after a while.

A message to all beginners:

Flash is a program used to make movis, games, and the sort. I am a bit more than a beginner, but I still have a lot to learn before I can actually post anything on Newgrounds. These tutorials aren't the best. For super beginners, I suggest going to incredibleflashtutorials.com. It is very helpful, and teaches you all the basics. After that I suggest going to a bookstore like Borders and buying a bunch of books on Flash ;P. I think this is pretty good, but it could use a little work, for example, It' not that eyecatching on the 'Welcome' Screen, and the colors aren't good together because they're too bright. That's all I have to say.
