Indeed you can. There's a "Car's "R" Us" somewhere near the hospital, you can buy two different cars there. There's one other car you can get if you enter a certain character name when starting the game.

I'd say something to defend myself/my game, but I guess it is a very similar game. I tried to make sure there were distinct differences though, such as getting jobs at different buildings rather than the same one. If I get around to making Meteolife 2, I assure you it will be quite different.
