Reviews for "Prince of War"

I don't know if this is a glitch but...

I sat there fighting the EXACT SAME orc, over and over for about half an hour, while my troops walked onto the feild and magicly died for no reason...

Asvegren responds:

I haven't seen that glitch before. If it happens, just click the "restart level" button in the bottom left corner.

loved it

i liked the game, and the ability to participate in the actual battles, but it is EXACTLY like battle for gondor, and thats y i gave it a 9. get an original idea.

A good game, with one flaw

This is a very well done game, and it even has a good story; a definite plus. However, there is one thing that made this game completely unplayable.

During one of the last missions, specifically the one where you receive the mage, my character was stuck moving to the right. i could move him up and down, but no matter what he kept moving forward; he simply would NOT stand still. The game couldn't be finished this way, since there was no way for me to attack the peons that went rushing past because i could not turn back around to fight them. i don't know whether that was a bug on the game's part or a problem with my keyboard, though, so i didn't factor it into the score.

However, if you ever do a sequel or another game of this type, i would like to point out that i found it very annoying to have to turn around every 5 seconds and go kill a peon because the units refused to fight it. While your character's unconscious, that basically leads to an unstoppable loss. Find some way around this, because i find it quite unfair.

All in all, however, a very good game.

Very fun

I like the fact that the hero can fight now. That really made it easier.
Oh, and Freezin2day,you have to put the hero ALLthe way down.
AlZe out.

Extremely enjoyable

Played quite a similar game like a year ago. That one was just too hard. This one, well, a bit too easy. If you're lucky, you may get through a level within seconds.

What I'd like to see are improvements, not to the army, but to the hero. The other game had something like that. That's what makes games really interesting, more RPG-like. So, Prince of War is a bit too simple. I loved it's simplicity, but still... the game needs some polishing.

As for graphics and sound effects, great. Loved the music, adds quite a nice mood. Once again, everything quite simple, but really well done.

The story is something else. A bit touching at times, seriously. Sometimes funny, not to say "silly."

Haven't found any glitches. Worked perfectly. And everything was so smooth...
