Reviews for "Newgrounds -VS- Sprites"

great

i want to kno if there is a downloadable version of this ( aka, it sometimes stops during gameplay

stoners-lunchbox responds:

There isn't a downloadable version of this, unfortunately. I don't have a program to create a windows projector and giving out the SWF file is too insecure.

I'll work on it, though.

Thanks for playing!

o crap

Oh, well... Next time.

Thanks for the feedback!

Cool but a few things you should fix up!

I like all the characters but i like ratbag and furball the best. You have to make another! But theres one thing I think you should fix about this game...CPU difficulty its way too easy its very easy on mario stage i stood there dident evan move and they die in a snap please add a thing that tells difficulty or make them stronger!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Yeah, creating a cpu is something i've never done. I didn't actually follow tutorials to make this game, so just making the NPC move on its own was somewhat hard.

You tried, and that's all that really mattered. You might get criticism, but that's natural. Nothing is perfect, even though people try to make their creations so, and even though your creation may seem bad, ultimately, it's pretty good, if you're not being biased about it like half the other reviewers.

Put it like this. This creation, a game, is defined by how much Effort went into it, it's Gameplay Value, it's Creator, how many people dislike it/like it, and of course, it's Difficulty. (As in how hard or easy it is to play it.)

You say you put a lot of effort into this, so obviously, this gets an S for Effort. (Being creative. Using Gameplay Ranking for a Game. Bare with me here.)

It's Gameplay Value, though disliked by harsh criticisms, is actually good if you're looking at the game itself, and not being biased in your opinions through other games made that are similar to this, however, I can't call myself a Gamer if I can't be honest. Though alot of effort was put into this game, it is, as others say, bad, but not when compared to other horrible games. This gets a C for Gameplay Value.

You seem like a nice guy. I'm new to your side of Newgrounds, this being one of your first submissions I've seen of yours, so, you get an A out of fairness.

Obviously, people dislike this game, but that's not to say that some people don't like it. It just says that people either judge too quickly without knowing what they are saying, or know what they are saying, but have harsh judgement in either section. Because of this, you get a D.

Finally, it's Difficulty. I'm not talking about game modes or any of that, but how the Game can be played itself. Bugs, Glitches, basically, how it can be played. This is similar to Gameplay Value, only that is how the game can be played, not how it looks. The Gameplay itself is buggy, and will have some slight glitches, but the mechanics, the scripts, and the animations are fair in the game. They may not be the best, but there are worse things about there. Do you "C" what I mean? (... Sorry.)

All in all, your Game gets a C. So I wouldn't say that's bad, but I wouldn't say it's good, either. Keep up the work, and if you decide to make a Sequel or a Remake of this, I would be very prepared.
