Good, but needs improvement.
It's a great sidescroller, but the lack of a life system makes it not worth playing. Especially when you get into the levels with the hard to see bullets. Also, there's a glitch in the second level at the boss where you die even though you still have one shield point left.
Nice throwback to the old side-scroller.
Brings back fond memories of sitting around playing Gradius and old Neo Geo shooters. The whole thing looks pretty and I did like how the space ship looked a lot like the craft you use in R-Type. The upgrade system works out well, but the enemies are pretty difficult to kill and it's hard to get your craft up to pace in the very beginning.
Lower the difficulty curve, throw in some more levels. :D

The full version includes two levels, the second of which the boss is incredibly difficult, but beatable. I give kudos to the designer, but ask for more levels, and more lives.
Te trick is to upgrade when your fighting the first boss, it's weapons arent dramatically powerful, so with that in mind, get as many upgrades as you can. The second boss is easier with the right upgrades. I beat it with one bar of shield left, with speed level 1, fire rate level 4, beam level 5, homing missles 1, and drone 1. I didnt upgrade the tesla beam.

Not Bad not as hard as the other review made it sound beat it in the first try without loosing a point of life.

This game is so awesome that no matter how many times I die (this game is freaking hard) that I keep coming back to play it! Usually I would curse the person that made a game this hard and spitt on there name repeatatly, but not you my friend, I give you kudos.....its just that good for a flash game!
