shoo fly? oh my! o.o
This is awesome I'me pretty sure thats the best animation I've since I saw the Miyuzaki films. (Spirited away, Princess Mononoke, etc.) It's fast it's thorough and it's neat. This isn't as graphic as the Miyuzaki films...but it sure as hell kicked ass in animation!
I'd love to see you make cartoons someday. But I'm not sure that'll happen since you said it makes you tired of drawing.

Worth the wait
One of the best shorts I've seen on this website. Well worth the 2 yr. wait, though I wish you weren't committed to giving up on animation. I love your work. I marvel at the way you timed Nelly's movements to the music and used humour and style to make something so simple (getting rid of a fly) so entertaining. Nelly's facial expressions are a delight. In conclusion, I say, "Shoo Fly!"
