Bug
I found an ell that revives u... I was killed by some big ass ell thing and I revived... and I cant do any thing.. the games basicly frozen there... might wana fix that.

This was incredible. The graphics were great, the interface was new and bold, and the overall feel of the game was just phenomenal. YOU SHOULD MAKE REAL GAMES. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE E-MAIL ADDRESS OF A GUY'S COUSIN IN BOISE WHO CAN HELP YOU TALK TO THE GUY WHO PLUNGES THE TOILETS AT BLACK ISLE. NOT THE GAME COMPANY BUT A COPYCAT NAMED SMALL FURNITURE STORE. BUT SAME NAME RIGHT?

I'd give you a 10, but I feel the games a bit too short, and you really should have just let the player select the difficulty. SOme of us actually like a challanege and actually using our heads, so going through your slightly awkard site to find the hard verison is a little annoying, when theirs no reason why you couldn't just have a very easy, normal, hard option. Also I think theirs a bug, as in the opening the boat either doesn't come or takes bloody ages, so i had to skip it, and now the storyd oesn't make sense (could you fix it? WHy does the dude need to do chores if hes going to school?)
But other than that, great game.
Very stratergic, its amazing you designed a 1 party turn based rpg and actually managed to make it strategic instead of just "press attack till the enemy dies" like 99% of the rpgs here, Other flash makers look and learn! EIther give the player a party, or make sure having 1 hero is actually intresting!
You made brilliant use of the Phantasy star skill system, and thankfully avoidided putting in gibberish spells, unlike those games.
I don't know what else to say, except keep up the good work and I'm really looking forward to 2!
Oh maybe you could use the difficult thing to add replay, like putting in an Xtreme mode for those who beat the game and enjoy a challange!
Wow... that is a truly awesome Flash RPG.
Probably the best I've ever played. However, I'd like to see the addition of more magic attacks in Chapter 2. Possibly a way to attack multiple enemies in one turn? Anyway, it was great. Loved it. I can't wait until the next chapter. :)
Very good game
Lol well I loved playing it everything was fun and it didn't get boring fast it kept me on my toes. Almost lost a fight or to and that was on easy man talk about staying true to the RPG style of gaming. I only have one question though, will you start everyone at level 5 for the next chapter? or will we have to start from level 1 and work our way back up? The story was funny at least to me. Well I really liked playing it and wait for more on this series. ^^
