While I disagree with you on the issue I apprecaite that the animation itself was well done.

Pretty Good
I liked the concept of it and how it didn't get out of hand. Wikipedia's just trying to look good for the public so it can be used as a source again. Liked the gameboy part a lot though. Ill check your website. (Also, monkeys voice annoying, try less screechy.)

Heh it sums up wiki pretty well
I know the feeling on wikipedia....they have a thousand word essays that ramble on about prasing He-man or Ash Katchem that seems to be noteworthy enough to keep, but find a website plug a waste of cyberspace be cause its not "nessicary information," but this is mearly the oximoronic nature of having the public control the eb and flow of infomation.
And the flash....It had some decent art that flowed nicely. Music could have been better though....the only real grip was that this was a hater flash. It was too specific in pointing wiki out and was basicaly a protest. It would have been fun (if childish) to have the monkey go nuts trying to take out wiki.

Well I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of the cartoon anyway. Yes, it was mainly done as a protest, which I haven't done in a cartoon for a while. Normally they are more lighthearted with the only message being "Be happier!" =)

One of the best Fred Toons yet!
I think you're well on your way to developing your own style of cartoon, I know you're probably sick of hearing it, but you're becoming less like Homestar with each toon (that's a good thing btw).I only say that because I visited Fredthemonkey first and was sad to discover it's not as famous as it deserves to be. seriously, the jokes in this one were the best yet and your script is improving all the time. The graphics are basic (but in a kind of good way) but so is Homestar's when you look closely.
Anyhoo, I know you don't care about the whole Wikipedia thing, and i think that its unfair about how you're deemed 'un-notable' and i hope it doesen't get deleted.

Well it got deleted, but that's okay as long as people like you are still enjoying the cartoons. That's why I do them after all! =)

Good animation
Realize that wikipedia is trying to compete against things like encyclopedia Britannica and stuff, and won't keep entries that make it look silly or unprofessional, and having an entry about Fred the monkey, as great as it is, is looked at with scrutiny and stuff. Anyway, that's why it's probably on the chopping block.

While I can see your point, they do have entries for things such as Homestarrunner and other Flash cartoons that are for nothing more than entertainment, so I don't see how silly things like that can be exceptions.
Regardless, I'm not very concerned with getting Fred into Wikipedia, but moreso I would just like them to speak to people differently. I got many comments such as "Fail" or "not worth the time" and how is that professional? It is not. With a tiny bit more work, these people could offer suggestions to the people they are deleting to help them improve, instead of hindering them with rude and impersonal comments. Just my thoughts anyway.
