Reviews for "Sleepless Knight: Part 2"

Good

It was good, except for the backgrounds. Don't use pictures for backgrounds - they're ugly. At least do a LITTLE better and bitmap trace them. Or better yet, draw your own. It won't be THAT hard with your other graphics.
4/5

Solid Work

I enjoyed te original and this one is indeed an improvement. My only critisism is that the combat engine is not used enough. Its a pretty solid one to maybe toss in some more enemies. Other than that excellent work.

A fine ending to the quest.

I kept wondering if/when I'd get to go to the othe rplaces on the map, but then I remembered, Oh yeah, that was the first game. :P
Seemed short, though, and there were fewer baddies. Oh well.
Good job. Any chance of a sequel? Somehow?

The-EXP responds:

yeah, i put them in there to show where you went in the first game, makes it a bit more solid. it's short to try and convince you to get all the coins..which takes AGES and is kind of difficult. thanks for playing Asmith

It was pretty good.

*****SPOILER ALERT*****
Here are the passwords.
Dark Forest: forest
Southern Desert: desert
Mt. Newgroundia: newgroundia
Newgroundia Castle: castle
End Scene: endmovie
Start with 999 coins: coinz

Hint: Always do the coinz thing, you can get every upgrade and heal yourself A Friggin Lot.
There aren't as many upgrades as you think.
Don't blame me for giving out secrets. Players, you don't have to use them.
Sorry, the_EXP, but the passwords are the same from the last one and were obvious.
The storyline was a bit odd, and so convienent that she could do Matrix moves and just "happened" to be the princess.
Sunset Peaks and the foothills aren't in the game, they were just for decoration. It was good, but it was lacking. I'd give it a 4/5.

An Improvement but oh so short...

The Sleepless Knights saga continues...and ends all too abruptly. That is my only critisism of this clever little flash game, sequel to one of my favorites. The platforming has improved, and now you don't lose all of your upgrades because of one mistake (the biggest problem with the first one). After the twist ending of the first game tho' I was expecting the developers to pull the story out a bit longer. Lucy's quest for revenge ends suddenly with little fanfare, and little chance for a sequel. Aside from this disapointment, and unpleasently violent cinimatics (a little Xiao Xiao don't you think?) it is still a charming diversion and makes me pray for more. (Sleepless Knights 3: Rise of the MidKnight! You know you want to!)
