i liked the first. damn glad the sequel finally came. it was so lame, you had to love it. the fucking killing scenes. just as funny as the last. funny ass game (intentially or not). PEACE

I liked this game quite a bit. Most games that I find here can't keep me occupied for more than 4-5 minutes, but I stuck this one through til the end! The graphics are charming and simple, there are enough attacks to make the fights interesting as opposed to button tapping and yawning, and the upgrade system allowed for something else to work towards instead of just plot advancement. I especially like how the upgrades even changed your appearance in the game itself.
The only real gripe I have is with the controls; being that they are a little bit sticky. Nothing big, though, just small things like when you change direction suddenly and there's no response because you just switched arrow keys too quickly.
One last thing, I'm absolutely charmed that you respond to quite a bit of your reviews, a showing of acceptance of constructive criticism as well as compliments is one of the symptoms of potential. I'm putting you in favorites. Ciao!

i reviewed the first one and it was really good but frustrating but im glad to see theres level select and more options to make it easier nice job 1 of the best platformers on newgrounds!
keep up the good work but a suggestion for next time, make the controls less stiff
